i'm the webmistress of this site, evangeline, (she/they). i'm sixteen, co-captain of a robotics team, aspiring biologist, musician, and beginner coder. i made this site purely out of boredom, but now it's become an addiction. my site's mascot is chill socrates!!! by the way, you can click on images below to see my favs ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂)⸝♡

favorite music

i love deftones, nirvana, the cure, depeche mode, tv girl, pinkpantheress, tyler the creator, frank ocean, sza, faye webster, gorillaz, radiohead, mf doom, portishead, grimes, alex g, and chappell roan, to name a few! i like most genres except most pop and country (with the exception of johnny cash ofc). i grew up in a music-centered family. my dad's mom taught voice and piano at a college, and my dad, my grandma, and my aunt all were musicians. we constantly listened to all types of music in my house. my mom listened to music like pink floyd, tom petty, the eagles, pearl jam, maggie rogers, sarah mcclachlan, you get the idea :). my dad listened to the cure, depeche mode, prince, tears for fears, radiohead, queen, journey, etc. my tastes took theirs and made them my own.

favorite philosophers

as far as philosophy goes i tend to learn towards an existentialist/nihilist/absurdist view. no particular view holds all my ideals and values perfectly but those are the ones i relate to the most ig. i like sartre, nietzche, kafka, and camus. i need to read more of their entire works instead of just bits. having adhd, i tend to have a very short attention span when it comes to reading so i mostly read quotes or short paragraphs about philosophy. my worldview is a mix of existentialism and absurdism but it's very loosely categorized as there are other components of worldviews i also agree with.

favorite films and shows

my all time favorite films are fight club, saw 2, the eternal sunshine of a spotless mind (absolute number one fav right there), dead poets society, girl interrupted, perfect blue, blue is the warmest colour, twilight and twilight new moon, the craft, and many others i can't think of right now i'm not good at commiting to shows but these are my favs of the ones i have been able to commit to: jujutsu kaisen, neon genesis evangelion, orange is the new black, the l word, and 1923, and ARCANE. i'm currently watching the last of us.

favorite things to ingest

i like any pasta, pot roast, sushi, beef stroganoff, steamed dumplings, anything with pesto, havarti cheese (really any white cheese), matcha, red bull tropical, red bull purple spring edition, and reg red bull, ARIZONA GREEN TEA, ramune (melon ahhh), mint choc chip ice cream, strawberry ice cream, cherry icecream, any lemon dessert.. and last but not least my fav thing to ingest is weed.

and other things about me

fav season is autumn, followed by spring. fav color is green. i'm a libra sun and leo rising but i have zero leo attributes and perfectly embody a libra (besides being outgoing) i'm an infp-t. i'm what i like to call a closeted goth. i also sometimes dress like a skater boy.

my internet room

below is my apartment room, filled with empty red bull cans and dirty laundry. it smells like the soaps i collected from the vintage store, a mixture of lilac, patchouli, and a hint of nostalgic longing.
